Jaipur International Rating Open Chess Tournment
After noteworthy performance at Asian School Chess Festival at Kandy,Sri Lanka, early This Year, Young Brigade of Rajasthan Chess has once again proved that they will be a Major Chess Force to recon with in the Time to Come. Many a Young & Age Group Chess Players Figured in Main Prize List. Most of Special Category & Tournament Best Age Group were won By Rajasthan Players. Bharat Gupta of Jaipur Stood overall 19th Best Player of Tournament. Devesh Mukharjee was 24th in Main Prize List & Best Player in Rating Category 1801 to 2000. Mukesh Mandloi was 30th & last in Main List.
Akhilesh Jakhar was Declared Best Unrated Player. National Under 11, 2nd runner up Sonakashi Rathore was Tournament Best Under 12 Girl. Asian School chess Bronze Medalist Nishtha Gupta was Tournament Best under 16 Girls & also Best Player in Rating Category 1401 to 1800.
Among Prizes Reserved For Rajasthan Players Bharat Gupta won Best Rajasthan & Best Jaipur Player. Best under 16 Boy was Atishay Ajmera, who defeated WGM Esha Karwade in this Tournament. Best Under 14 Boy was Shobhit Kapoor . Best under 12 Boy was Kushagra Sharma, who completed his Rating eligibility. Among girls. Best Under 16 Girl was Astha Gupta, Best Under 14 Girl was Karishama Mangyani & Best under 12 Girl was Vineeta Mangyani.
